Overview and objectives:
The Water Environment Federation (WEF), in cooperation with the Virginia Water Environment (VWEA) and the
Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD), invites you to attend a training session focused on “SSI MACT”. This is a
unique training opportunity in which participants will identify the current status of the MACT standards, understand
the science behind the MACT standards, learn unit processes and strategies required to meet the MACT standards,
and experience a live demonstration of equipment. Participants will receive a certificate for obtaining professional
development hours (PDHs) or continuing education units (CEUs) at the end of the event.
Target Audience:
Though material is focused for operators, designers, engineers, and utility managers will also benefit from this
training.

$50 WEF/VWEA Member, $75 Non-Member. Registration fee includes lunch, classroom training course, and plant
