03 February 2015 Media alert PROVINCIAL SOCIAL COHESION SUMMIT The KwaZulu-Natal Arts and Culture Department is set to host a provincial Social Cohesion Summit at the Winston Churchill Theatre in Pietermaritzburg on the 5 th and 6th of February 2015. The two day event will focus on various aspects including the Draft Social Cohesion National Strategy, social integration, nation building as well as community conversations. There will also be themed commissions on how to better include social cohesion in public policies, among other things. A multicultural display of song, music and dance titled “Celebrating 100 Years of the Freedom Charter” will also be presented. Arts and Culture MEC, Mrs Ntombikayise Sibhidla-Saphetha, is expected to deliver her address on the 5th of February.
