Dear Friends and Supporters,
On behalf of the American Cancer Society, we would like to invite you to join us for a truly
unforgettable evening dedicated to raising money to fight cancer.
Now in its sixth year, Mardi Bras & Boxers is honored to be one of Southwest Florida’s
major fundraising events for the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life of Cape Coral.
We are excited to be holding the event this year at the Italian American Club.
The 6th Annual Mardi Bras & Boxers Ball features local Chefs who will provide
their epicurean delicacies and compete for the coveted title of Grand Chef de
Cuisine. The heart of the evening follows with a live auction full of unique and exquisite
auction packages donated by local artists and businesses.
The event last year was a tremendous success, with over 200 guests in attendance. We proudly presented a check in the amount of $78,000 to the American Cancer Society, which was
more than double from the previous year.
Your participation not only helps to raise much needed funds to reach our goal to end cancer,
it also places your name alongside the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life of Cape
Coral, helping people and their families in your community.
Your donation will be a silent or live auction item at the February Event or used to raise
additional funds during the year at other Mardi Bras and Boxers events.
