CELEBRATE RECOVERY – NEW GROUPS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . WEDNESDAYS, 6:15 PM
New step studies have begun and new applicants are still welcome. We are also
beginning a new session of Life’s Healing Choices - an eight-week study providing hope
in facing the challenges of life. Join us this Wednesday for dinner in the Fireside Room at
6:15 PM followed by a large group session and smaller study groups.
ENCORE VALENTINE EXTRAVAGANZA . . . . . . . . . . . . . .WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11
Come wearing RED at 6:00 PM and enjoy a feast of “Snow on the Mountain” with
musical guests Gabriel Trio. Tickets are on sale for $15 in the lobby today or in the church
office during the week.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TITHE AND AN OFFERING?
One tenth was the minimum standard for Old Testament giving. Deuteronomy lists several
additional offerings. It is likely that people gave more than 10% as God’s blessing on their
life increased. This extra giving is what we refer to as “offerings.”
This Sunday all loose cash will go to our Benevolent Fund, helping those in our church
and community in crisis situations. Thank you for your generous giving.
IN ADDITION to giving in the offering plate, you may use your debit or credit card at the
kiosks in the Lobby, and you can now give online with your Visa or Mastercard. Visit

2014 TAX RECEIPTS are available for pick-up at the welcome centre Sundays from
