Illinois Holocaust Museum

Come on a tour of the Illinois Holocaust Museum. The mission of the Holocaust Museum is
expressed in their founding principle: Remember the Past, Transform the Future. The Museum is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the
Holocaust by honoring those lost and teaching
lessons that combat indifference. The museum
is handicap accessible and has benches for reflection. Lunch at Johnny Rockets prior to the
tour. Approximate return by 5:00 p.m. Cost is

Agatha Christie’s “The Verdict”

Rock Valley College Studio Theater presents Agatha Christie’s “The Verdict.” Karl Hendryk flees
persecution to care for his invalid wife, Anya, in
England. Her suffering continues and she despises
their new life. Tensions build when Karl's cousin
moves in to assist in caring for Anya. The situation
is intensified when one of Karl's students begins to
take private lessons from him and feelings are
quick to develop. Cost is $17. Sign-up and pay

AARP Driver Safety Course
March 23th and 24th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

This class is open to anyone aged 50 and older.
Participants will learn safety strategies; understand
the links among the driver, vehicle and environment; learn how aging, medications, and other issues affect ability; learn the newest safety and features; and learn when driving may not be safe.
This class (two 4-hour sessions) may qualify you
for an auto insurance reduction for three years. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate for auto insurance purposes. Cost is $15 for AARP
members and $20 for non-members. A check to
AARP will be collected on the first day. Sign up
