This production, “Ring of Fire: Music of Johnny Cash,” is more than a staged telling of the life of Johnny Cash — it is a mosaic of American experience pieced together with Cash songs and dramatic performances. This show is not your traditional musical, but a broad retelling of Johnny Cash’s life story. At the center of the show are couples paired off to portray Johnny and June through various life stages. This special performance is in preparation for the American Association of Community Theatre’s regional play competition in Springfield, Illinois. Cost is $7.
