CHANGE IN MEMBERSHIP OF
HANG SENG INDEX ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (“Hang Seng Indexes”) today announced the
following changes in the membership of the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee
(“Committee”). The changes come into immediate effect.
Mr Alan Howard Smith, Former Vice Chairman, Asia Pacific Credit Suisse First Boston;
and Mr Hing-wang Fung, Former Commissioner for Census and Statistics of the
Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, have retired from the
Committee after over 12 years and eight years of distinguished service, respectively.
Mr Leslie Tang has been appointed as a new Committee member. Mr Leslie Tang is the
Commissioner for Census and Statistics of the Government of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region with more than 30 years of experience in the field of statistics.

available on the Hang Seng Indexes website at www.hsi.com.hk.
