Timor-Leste’s Immigration Service last Friday captured four foreign nationals who were found misused their social visit visas. Two Indonesians and four Chinese
were captured after doing business in the country’s capital of Dili. The Immigration Service Police officer, Luis do Carmao said the police were able to capture those
foreign nationals as they were informed by the communities. “It has been a week the operations ongoing, we were able to capture four illegal migrants as we are in

The Government of South Korea invites the President of the Republic, Taur Matan Ruak (TMR) to visit Korea in April this year. President aimed at having discussion with NGOs and Child Fund in Korea to help support future economic and social development of Timor-Leste. He added that the

Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao has issued a dispatch to halt all big projects of the Government, such as decentralized development project (PDD), district integrated

Eferwin Store in Pantai Kelapa. During the inspection MCIA team found numbers of food which have been expired, such as chickens, beefs and some boxes of
beverages. MCIA officer said they inspected this store as they had information from the communities, saying they found expired goods in the referred stores. “We
got some complaints from the communities that they found numbers of expired goods in this store. Therefore, we are here to do inspection,” she said. The owner of
the store recognized that had numbers of expired goods as they had many and were not sold out.
