See a counselor for essay topic and deadline is February 27th. 2014-2015 Coca-Cola Scholarship Program Description of Scholarships The Coca-Cola Bottling Company will provide scholarship funding and award a total of five (5) scholarships in the amount of $200 to Ware County High School graduates of 2015 who meet the eligibility and criteria guidelines below. *Scholarship Eligibility and Criteria Guidelines The scholarships are merit-based and awarded to the top honor graduates **who are attending a postsecondary institute in the fall of 2015. **What if the honor student is not going to college in the fall of 2015? If a student who ranks among the top 10 honor graduates does not plan to further his/her education or is going to delay going to college later than the fall of 2015, the scholarship must be declined and awarded to the next highest ranked honor graduate. What documentation is needed to issue the scholarship? The scholarship recipient must furnish a copy of the acceptance letter issued on letterhead from the postsecondary school that they will be attending in the fall of 2015 to their high school counselor. The counselor will then submit the attached Recipient Information form and a copy of the acceptance letter for each recipient to Crystal Bussey at the Ware County Schools’ Board office for processing of the scholarship checks. Megan Carter signed with Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts to play Golf. Megan is the daughter of Ray and Paige Carter. She has been a member of the Ware County Lady Golf team for four years and hopes to help her team with the GHSA State Championship this season. Bailey Buie signed with Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia, to play Golf. Bailey is the daughter of Bobby and Kay Buie. She has also been a member of the Lady Gator Golf team for four years and will join Megan on the links this spring in pursuit of a State Championship.
