Asian American Club: The Asian American Club’s BIG SHOW is TONIGHT! Come out at 7pm for a thrilling night of
games, acts, enthralling dances, a romantic drama, comedy and SO MUCH MORE! ALL proceeds will be donated to
Operation Smile, and 3 Student Council points will be awarded. $2 for students and $5 for adults. Be there.
Parsippany Ice Hockey: The Parsippany Ice Hockey Team won their quarterfinals game for the Haas Cup playoffs by
a score of 3-0 against Sparta. Goals scored by Brian Rodrigues, Alex Cavaluzzo and Marc Farrelli. Steven Krolian
recorded the shutout to secure the win.
PHS Band: Please join the PHS bands in congratulating the following students who successfully auditioned into this
year’s Jr. Region Band: Ellen Xu, Clarinet and Ethan Kaplan, Tenor Sax.
Gamer Club: The Gamer Club will be meeting tomorrow, Friday, February 13 th in Café 1 after school. There will be a
better variety of games, setups and we have expanded to board games and card games. Feel free to bring any to
play! All are welcome.
Winter Track Athletes: Please see Mrs. DeGironimo as soon as possible about banquet information. Responses are
due on Friday. Also, all winter track athletes must hand in uniforms and sweats by Friday at the latest. Not handing
in uniforms will result in a fine.
SAT/ACT Prep Courses: Parsippany High School is offering FREE SAT/ACT Prep Courses leading up to each SAT/ACT
test date. The SAT/ACT test prep course is designed to help sharpen test taking abilities by reviewing critical reading
skill areas and essay techniques, building knowledge of mathematical concepts and providing tips for relief of test
taking anxiety. Check your pthsd.net email for more info.
AP Test Registration: The AP test registration process will be complete ONLINE this year from February 16 th –
February 27th through TOTAL REGISTRATION.NET. Anyone who is planning on taking any AP test must complete
their registration before the deadline of February 27th. Late registrations will not be accepted. The link to register is
located on PHS website, School Counselors page. Please see Mrs. Letsch with any questions. DO NOT DELAY!
Media Center: Congratulations to Lukas Kvietkauskas and the team of Jacob Feldmen, Samuel Ianetta and Michael
Linder. Each put together a working computer from random parts in less than 40 minutes. The official contest is
over, but you are welcome to come to the Media Center makerspace and try it yourself.
Track & Field. The Parsippany Track and Field Team will advance 10 athletes to the State Group Meet this Friday.
Senior Malik Francis was the sectional winner in the 400 and 55 hurdles. Ally Schlosser won the mile and placed 3 rd
in the two mile. Nicole Herrera placed 5th in the 400. Josh Crawford was 2nd in the 55 dash and Kwaku Agyemang
was 5th. The boys 4x400 team of Malik Francis, Josh Crawford, Antonio Ybanez and Kwaku Agyemang was 2 nd overall.
John Burk placed 2nd in the shot put! The boys tied for 2nd place. The girls 4x400 team of Kati Hsu, Nicole Herrara,
Meghan Wisniewski and Gabby Rachmaciej placed 3rd overall. Great job everyone!
Wrestling: Our wrestlers continued their winning ways defeating Mendham High School 42 to 19, Mendham High
School 55 to 15 and Watchung High School 46 to 19. Our RedHawks stand at 16 & 2 for the season. Great job
RedHawks.
Senior Fun Night: Attention all seniors. Senior Fun Night has been changed to Friday, February 20 th. If you have not
already signed up and would like to attend, please see Ms. Fedo in Room 201. Also, if you can no longer attend,
please see Ms. Fedo immediately.
Media Center Makerspace: Are you creative and inventive? Interested in learning about electronics? Come try out
the newest addition to the media center’s Makerspace. Littlebits are electronic modules that you can experiment
with and make something that actually does something. All are welcome. No experience or sign up necessary. We
have instructions and materials.
Project Graduation: Attention all seniors! Anyone interested in attending Project Graduation should pick up a form
from Ms. Fedo in room 201. Also, if you would like to submit a t-shirt design for Project Graduation, pick up a form
from Ms. Fedo in 201 also.
Juniors: Attention all juniors, if you are interested in working during your senior year, please see Dr. Garcia in
room 203 for details.
