Brendan Foot Supersite Hutt Rec Venue Entry Conditions
Brendan Foot Supersite Hutt Rec is a one of a kind venue and aims to set high standards and lead the
way for more temporary venues to be built in the future. To ensure all patrons enjoy their experience at
Brendan Foot Supersite Hutt Rec, entry to the venue is subject to the following conditions. These
conditions should be read in conjunction with the Football federation Australia Hyundai A-League terms
of admission and code of behaviour. The management of the venue have notified the standard of
behaviour that is expected from all visitors to the venue which is posted on the website.
The following food and drink items may be bought into the venue.

Food for personal consumption, such a sandwiches, fruit chippies, cakes.


Plastic water bottles up to a maximum size of one litre.
Bags or eskys must be soft-sided and fit under your seat.
Patrons must not bring the following into the venue.


Alcohol
Thermos flasks


Glass Bottles
Illicit drugs


Sounds amplifiers or loud hailers
Musical instruments


Recording or large photography devices.
Dogs or other pets, guide dogs permitted.


Flares, fireworks, laser pointers.
Knives or other dangerous weapons


Skateboards, roller blades, scooters or bicycles
Chairs of any kind


Signs or banners that may be obscene, offensive or abusive.
Flag poles of more than one metre in length. (Case by case basis)

Ant other item which may be deemed to have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance or inconvenience to any
other person.
There is to be no smoking in any Stands or areas within the Stadium except for the designated smoking area. The designated smoking
area is at the southern end of the construction zone.
As a general rule


Patrons must not sit, stand in aisles or block entrances or emergency exits.
As specified in point 2, some sporting events are dangerous and patrons viewing activities do so as their own risk.


Pass outs will be on a case by case basis.
Radios and CDs must only be used with headphones.


Umbrellas may not be raised in the seating areas.
Patrons bring personal items into the venue do so at their own risk. The venue or hirer will not be held responsible for

any damages, lost, theft or a patron’s personal property.
No Alcohol is to be removed from the stadium.

Children under the age of 14 are to be supervised by an adult.

Tickets to the venue are issued by Wellington Phoenix or their ticketing agent. By entering the venue or receiving a ticket for
entry to the venue, you are deemed to have accepted, and understood these conditions and any accompanying risks,
obligations and responsibilities. It is your responsibility to read and understand yourself of these conditions.
2.
If you enter the venue, there is a risk of an accident causing injury, death or property damage or loss, and you need to be aware
that such risks exist. The risks associated with entry to the venue include, but are not limited to, the risk of suffering injury, harm
or loss as a result of: temporary structures (such as umbrellas, marquees and gazebos), parts thereof or other debris being
dislodged by wind coming into contact with persons, vehicles or structures; or harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent)
committed by persons (such as intoxicated persons) present at the venue.

Most areas of the venue are exposed to weather, including direct sunlight, hail, rain and wind. The organisers do not guarantee
that there will be sufficient room for you to obtain shelter from such weather.
4.
Whilst at the venue, you are responsible for your own property. You must not leave bags or possessions unattended at any
time. There are no cloaking facilities other than a stroller park (small cost) at the venue for items which are not permitted to be
brought into the venue.
5.
If you breach these conditions, or the organisers (with reasonable cause) so directs, you may: be refused entry to the venue; be
evicted from the venue; have your ticket confiscated or cancelled without refund; or be reported to an appropriate law
enforcement body. This clause does not limit the right available to the organisers under these conditions or otherwise at law.
6.
You must comply with any reasonable directions given to by event organisers. The organisers or a person authorised by the
event organisers can at any time, inspect any vehicle, bag, basket or other receptacle or require you to turn out your pockets.
7.
If you become aware of any incidents, matters or circumstances in contravention of these conditions, or if you have any issues
that you wish to bring to HCC’s attention, you may call HCC on (04) 570 6666. You should do this as soon as possible so as to
assist HCC to provide you with a response.
8.
The schedule for an Event (whether published or otherwise) and its proposed format are only provisional and subject to change
due to adverse weather conditions or other reasons. HCC and Wellington Phoenix reserve the right to cancel, postpone or
relocate Events, change which participants are in an Event or the format of or any other element of an Event or which Events
take place on a particular day or the schedule of Events for that day, or arrange a substitute Event.
9.
There is no guarantee of viewing any planned participant in an Event or of viewing any particular Event. Subject to any right of a
refund or exchange, HCC and Wellington Phoenix are not liable to you for any losses, costs or damage you suffer or incur as a
result of any cancellation, postponement or relocation of an Event, any changes as to which participants are in an Event or in
the format of or any other element of an Event or as to which Events take place on a particular day or in the schedule of Events
for that day, or the arrangement of a substitute Event.
10. You acknowledge that Wellington Phoenix, HCC and third parties authorised by them may photograph, film, videotape, record
or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters the venue and use the same for any purposes
(including promotional) without payment to any person.
11. While present at the venue, you must comply with all relevant laws and any published policies relating to liquor sales and
consumption.
12. If you bring children into the venue, you are responsible for the care, conduct and supervision of those children at all times. You
are responsible for any acts or omissions committed by children whom you have brought to the venue.
13. You must not, without the express authorisation of the organising parties enter prohibited areas including the pitch itself or any
area where the movement of players, venue staff, or phoenix staff or ticket holders are prohibited to enter (as indicated by
fencing, cordons, locked doors, signage or otherwise). If you do so you may be expelled from the venue, banned from attending
the venue in the future and subject to legal action.
14. For the comfort and safety of persons at the venue, you are not permitted to bring into the venue (or have in your possession at
the venue) any of the following without consent: alcoholic beverages on any day; any structure or item larger than 3m x 3m
(management reserves the right to restrict placement at their discretion) ; any dangerous goods or weapons; any animals (other
than, if the person is deaf, blind or otherwise suffering a disability, a guide dog); any flags, banners or other bearing the logo of
any other than our appointed sponsors. These will be confiscated at admission or at the site of erection; any item that you
intend (or such quantities of the item from which the organisers can reasonably infer that you intend) to distribute, hawk, sell,
offer or expose for sale; any object, device or substance that may be used to deface or damage any part of the venue.
15. Unless authorised beforehand by event organisers in writing, you must not, while at the venue: post, stick or place or attempt to
post, stick or place any poster, placard, bill, banner, print, paper or any advertising material on any building, fence or other
structure; distribute any printed or visual matter or distribute, display or promote any advertising or promotional material or
samples of goods or services; distribute, hawk, sell, offer or expose for sale any goods or services or solicit or collect
subscriptions, donations, money or orders from persons present at the venue; throw or attempt to throw any bottle or other
projectile; disrupt, interrupt or behave in any matter that may disrupt or interrupt any Event, distract, hinder or interfere with a
participant in an Event or interfere with the comfort of other persons at the venue.
16. HCC, Trentham Gardens or persons authorised by HCC or Trentham Gardens may, in their sole discretion, prevent you from
entering the venue or evict you from the venue, if they reasonably believe that you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
You agree that this clause does not obligate event organisers to undertake any monitoring or compliance methods to ensure
that persons present at the venue are not intoxicated, and venue will not be responsible for the conduct of intoxicated persons
who are present at the venue, or persons who become intoxicated at the venue, nor for any damage or injury caused by such
persons. This clause does not seek to exclude any legal responsibilities that Trentham Gardens or persons authorised by
Trentham Gardens may have in relation to the responsible service of alcohol at the venue.
17. All patrons and their possessions may be subject to searches upon entry to the venue. Searches may also be carried out during
and post event. Patrons who refuse to participate in searches may be denied entry or asked to leave the venue. All Prohibited
items will be confiscated.
18. All patrons entering the venue must be appropriately dressed for their safety and the safety of others. All clothing must conform
to reasonable standards of decency (ie no bare feet). Your costumes should not be so large that you take up more than your
allocated space / seat, or impact the view of others. As well, any accessories that look like or can be used as weapons are not
permitted entry.
19. Patrons may be refused entry to the Stadium if they:


Are or appear intoxicated/under the influence of drugs or exhibit disorderly behaviour
Fail to comply with security or gate or staff requests

Attempt to bring in prohibited items. Please note that anyone caught trying to smuggle alcohol into Stadium will have their
ticket confiscated and will be denied entry. Bringing in alcohol is a breach of the ticket’s terms and conditions of entry


Have been previously issued with a trespass notice that still applies
Are not authorised to be in the Stadium, for example have no valid entry ticket or accreditation pass


Use obscene language
Are verbally or physically abusive, or behave in a disorderly or offensive manner


Are carrying out unauthorised activities within the Stadium
Throw items in the air or onto the pitch (including during Mexican waves)

