Quality Assurance of the Moderation Process
OCR invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to undertake the task of
Chief Coordinator for the following specification:
Level 2 Cambridge Technicals in Science
The Chief Coordinator is responsible for providing support and advice to assessors and
centers, and ensuring that OCR’s required standards are maintained.
You will be experienced in the delivery and assessment of vocational qualifications and
will be a subject expert with current experience in the appropriate sector. The ability to
work within tight time schedules, meet deadlines and to balance competing objectives at
busy times is essential.
Much of this task is likely to be carried out from home, although attendance at meetings
and visits to centres will be necessary. Remuneration of OCR assessors is on a task
basis and varies by the demands of the qualification.
