Invigilators needed for BIOL 201 and BIOL 202 midterms BIOL 202 and 201 will have their midterms on February 19th (6:00‐8:30pm) and February 25th (5:30‐8:00pm), respectively. If you’d like to invigilate please go to http://biology.mcgill.ca/student_ads.html for details. These courses need many invigilators so please apply and spread the word ! Torsten Bernhardt Ask a CIANtist Did you know that... ...the CIAN Robotics facility offers a service for automation and development of custom assays? Together with you, Guillaume Lesage (Robotics coordinator) will design, program and validate methods tailored to your needs. The robot includes a liquid handler (Biomek FX) enclosed in a sterile cleanroom, a plate reader (for regular or time‐
resolved fluorescence, absorbance, luminescence), 4 PCR engines, an incubator, a reagent dispenser and a plate washer. Applications include DNA, RNA or protein prep, genotyping, ELISA assays, library replication/screening, spotting assays and more...
