The Event is an open Endurance Trial, promoted and organised by ALMC Motor Club Limited, hereinafter called the promoters. It will be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the General Competition Rules of Motorsport Ireland (MI), Appendix 35 MI Yearbook 2015, these supplementary regulations and any final instructions issued before the start of the event. 2. The entry list opens on receipt of these regulations and close on Tuesday 24th February 2015 The entry fee is as follows: € 225 which includes € 20 standard rate IRDS/BRDS insurance premium and € 30 (per crew) competitors personal accident insurance. Total Entry amount Due: € 225 (Less a deduction of €7 per person for those aged 16 / 17) We anticipate that the level of interest already shown may result in a reserve list being created. Entry Forms must be fully completed and accompanied by a cheque (not post-dated) for €225 made payable to ALMC Motor Club Ltd. All Cheques will be lodged on receipt. The maximum entry for the event is 70. Should any of the above be not reached, the organizers have the right to cancel the event or amalgamate classes as necessary. Turbo and four-wheel drive vehicles are ineligible. 4. Cars will start at 1 (one) minute intervals, except where directed otherwise by the organisers (some selectives will be at 30 second intervals) 5. Classes The event will have six classes as follows: Class 1A: Cars built to Endurance Specification up to 1000cc Class 1B: Cars built to Endurance Specification between 1001cc and 1400cc Class 2: Navigation Trial cars up to 1400 c.c. Class 3: Navigation Trial cars from 1401 to 2000 c.c. Class 4: Front Wheel Drive Retro type cars. Class 5: Rear Wheel Drive Retro type cars. The Overall winner will be decided from Class 1A or IB (Endurance Class) only. Tyres for Endurance Events: Further to the provisions of Art 21.14 of Appendix 35, the Navigation Sub-committee have decided the following: For 2015, tyres will be free, with the exception that Yokohama A021R tyres are prohibited on driven wheels, and that the general prohibition of tyres marked "for competition use only" or "for rally use only" would be continued 6. Awards General Classification: 1st; 2nd; 3rd Overall Class Awards: 1st , 2nd , 3rd in each Class Novice Award : Driver has previously competed on less than 5 Endurance or Lanes events. Beginners Award : Driver has never previously competed on Endurance or Lanes events. ALMC Members Award: ALMC club member who has not won an award in any other category - 2 Awards plus Perpetual Cups - 2 Trophies. (Subject to Entries) Amalgamation of Classes or Additional awards may be announced at signing-on before the Event. ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARDS: Those receiving awards for overall placing will not be eligible for class awards except for Class 1B unless they have finished in the top three overall. 7. General Route. Organisers will use 1:50,000 maps when they are setting out the route card , but it is not envisaged that competitors will need maps, as a route book will be provided. (e) Any indemnity and/or declaration as prescribed by sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) above which is signed by a person under the age of 18 years shall be countersigned by that person’s parent or guardian, whose full names and address shall be given. Furthermore, the parents and/or guardians of persons under 18 years of age shall grant permission to MI and the Irish Sports Council to carry out tests in accordance with the Irish Anti-Doping Rules (Rule No 139) in the following form: “I/We hereby grant permission to MI and the Irish Sports Council to carry out tests as set out in Rule No 139 of the GCR’s in accordance with the Irish Anti-Doping Rules.” (f) I understand, agree and accept that I am responsible for the cost of making good any damage caused by me or my car to property during this event which is not covered by the event’s insurance. The insurers are not liable for the first €1270 (the excess) of any claim for loss of or damage to property.
