CSW - Student Appreciation Day 2015
Kindergarten through 8th grade Holy Rosary Students celebrated CSW Student Appreciation Day by participating in a school wide Marshmallow Challenge. Working in teams of 3‐5 students, each team had 18 minutes to construct the tallest freestanding architectural masterpiece they could imagine using spaghetti noodles, string and masking tape that would support a single marshmallow. They learned valuable engineering lessons in collaboration, innovation, hidden assumptions and creativity. Winning Team – Holly Sudol, Emma Jacobson, and Andrew Walde Structure Height – 56”
