CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK SCHEDULE FOR SACRED HEART SCHOOL
Sunday, January 25
Sacred Heart School will be hosting an Open House from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. We invite everyone to come.
Sacred Heart School Principal, Faculty and Student Ambassadors will be available to give tours, answer questions and assist with the completion of applications for the 2015-2016 school year. You will be able to see the
classrooms and meet some of our teachers.
Monday, January 26
We will kick off the week with a beach volleyball match between the 8th grade Class of 2015 and the faculty
at 10:30 am in the auditorium. Students may wear their Spirit Day attire. There will be early dismissal at
11:30 am followed by a faculty meeting.
Tuesday, January 27
Open House. You are invited to stop in to visit our school any time from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. In addition to
grades kindergarten through eighth, preschool will be in session. Our Spanish teacher will also be teaching
in several classes all morning. Please note that the children will be at lunch and recess from 11:15 am to
12:15 pm. Please invite friends and neighbors who may be interested in our school to come by.
Kindergarten will present The Three Piggy Opera in the auditorium at 8:00 am.
Grade 6 Field Trip, Focus 11, on learning more about vocations.
Wednesday, January 28
Student Appreciation Day - Presentation from Serengeti Steve to Gr. 5-8 at 12:30 pm and to Gr. 1-4 at 1:30 pm.
“Mad Science” will provide a show for the PreK and Kindergarten class in the morning.
Thursday, January 30
Faculty Appreciation Day – A luncheon will be provided by the Home & School Association. Thank you!
Movie in the afternoon for school Faith Families
Friday, January 31
All-School Mass, 8:00 am, celebrating Catholic Schools Week. Please join us.
Student Talent Show and Farmers Insurance Presentation of Checks, 1:00 pm in the auditorium. Everyone is
welcome.
For all Masses this weekend, January 24 and 24, Sacred Heart School students will serve as greeters, ushers, servers and will bring up the offertory gifts. The students will also speak at the end of each Mass thanking parishioners for their support of our school and inviting them to all of the week’s special events and Open Houses.
