Gympie Primary Leaders
Day – a chance to make a
difference
We are hosting the 2nd annual
Gympie Primary Leaders Day at
CCC and there will be 200 Year 6 students attending
from schools across our region. If you have a business
and would like to become a sponsor of this event I would
love to hear from you. We are expecting local media
coverage and we will recognise your business in our
publications and on the day. You may also be interested
in placing a flyer or promotional item in the kid’s show
bags. Please give me a call to discuss sponsorship
options - 5482 1222.

P & F News
arvotea@CCC - Wednesday 4th
March from 2.30pm
arvotea@ccc is an initiative of the
CCC P & F and is just parents sharing afternoon tea at
pick up time. Basically I bake a few biscuits and put on
the kettle. So next Wednesday, come a little earlier to
collect your student - share a cuppa and have a casual
chat with other CCC parents. Tea, coffee and biscuits
supplied.
arvotea@ccc will be in the primary area behind the
administration block on Wednesday 4th March from
2.30pm. Look for the aprons. Everyone is welcome I’d love to see you. No need to bring anything, just
yourself.
Readathon
Sponsor a student with their reading if you can. A great
encourager for the student and a good fundraiser for the
College.
Next P & F meeting
The next P & F meeting will be Tuesday 17th March at
7pm in the Administration building. This will
commence with the AGM, which will then be followed by
a general meeting.
Have a great week

A Unique Opportunity Awaits You
Share your passion and enthusiasm for music and
events and make a difference in the community where
we live, work and study.
As part of the Gympie Music Muster community
engagement, we have a number of student volunteer
opportunities throughout the year. From activities like
office administration to onsite festival and event work
or hospitality and Artists, you can connect, contribute
and develop valuable skills – and most importantly,
have fun while you’re at it!
The Gympie Music Muster is a Not for Profit
Organisation that runs the highly successful Muster
each August in the Amamoor State Forest, and we’re
building a dedicated team of student volunteers to
contribute to this event and activities throughout the
year.
Year 11 and 12 students who are interested in being
involved in community service are invited to get in
touch to register their interest. It doesn’t matter if you
have two hours a week or two hours a month to
contribute – it’s all valued, and we want to hear from
you.
To
register
your
interest
just
email
at
[email protected] with your brief background
including what skills you have (or would like to
develop), and how you believe you can help contribute
to the Gympie Music Muster. We are happy to ensure
that any volunteer hours contributed to the Gympie
Music Muster are recognised towards any school
awards and a reference can be provided on request at
the conclusion of the event.
