If you have a business and would like to become a sponsor of this event I would love to hear from you. Mr Ross Walisbuhl Head of Primary P & F News arvotea@CCC - Wednesday 4th March from 2.30pm arvotea@ccc is an initiative of the CCC P & F and is just parents sharing afternoon tea at pick up time. Basically I bake a few biscuits and put on the kettle. So next Wednesday, come a little earlier to collect your student - share a cuppa and have a casual chat with other CCC parents. Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied. arvotea@ccc will be in the primary area behind the administration block on Wednesday 4th March from 2.30pm. Look for the aprons. Everyone is welcome I’d love to see you. No need to bring anything, just yourself. Readathon Sponsor a student with their reading if you can. News from ILC Tax File Numbers From the 1st January 2015 students wishing to apply for a Tax File Number are required to lodge their application through Australia Post or online (www.ato.gov.au/TFNapply). The school based program is no longer available. This is an Australian Government directive. As part of the Gympie Music Muster community engagement, we have a number of student volunteer opportunities throughout the year. From activities like office administration to onsite festival and event work or hospitality and Artists, you can connect, contribute and develop valuable skills – and most importantly, have fun while you’re at it! The Gympie Music Muster is a Not for Profit Organisation that runs the highly successful Muster each August in the Amamoor State Forest, and we’re building a dedicated team of student volunteers to contribute to this event and activities throughout the year. Year 11 and 12 students who are interested in being involved in community service are invited to get in touch to register their interest. It doesn’t matter if you have two hours a week or two hours a month to contribute – it’s all valued, and we want to hear from you. To register your interest just email at [email protected] with your brief background including what skills you have (or would like to develop), and how you believe you can help contribute to the Gympie Music Muster. We are happy to ensure that any volunteer hours contributed to the Gympie Music Muster are recognised towards any school awards and a reference can be provided on request at the conclusion of the event.
