TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We are honored that you chose to worship with us today. As part of
worship, we ask everyone in the service to fill out a CARE card. On your
CARE card, you can relay any pastoral need or prayer request, register for
or request more information about ministry opportunities, or find assistance
in responding to the Gospel. CARE cards are distributed at the beginning of
our services. Please drop your CARE card in the offering plate as it is
passed. If you would like to personally share a prayer request or if you need
pastoral care today, please visit one of our pastors down front after each
service. You can also ask questions or sign up for our next Journey Class
which is scheduled for May 17.
What’s Happening this Week?
Join us for the Marriage Enrichment Class led by Don & Phyllis Rabon,
beginning TONIGHT, 5:00pm - 6:30pm, in room A203-204. This will
be a 5 week class that will share tools that will build and maintain
communication, motivate, and challenge you to thrive in your marriage.

In the event we experience inclement weather on days of worship, please
check with WLOS-TV (channel 13/cable channel 3), WTZQ radio (1600am)
or WHKP radio (1450am) for changes to our normal schedule. In most
cases, on Sunday, we will have an 11:00 am Sanctuary Service. In all
situations, please use your own discretion.

maze of Alzheimer’s. This is a story for everyone that will offer hope, love,
and understanding as you and your loved one struggle through the
difficulties of this disease. This event is free and open to the public; however,

Carpenter’s Hands Ministry needs items you no longer need, to be
offered for sell in the May 2nd yard sale. Proceeds benefit the Carpenter's
Hands Summer Mission Trip. Items may be dropped off under the covered
area of the Mission Impact Center, or to arrange for items to be picked up

We do not accept: clothing, shoes, magazines, and items that are broken.
Interfaith/Baptist Children’s Homes Food Drive

Feb. 1 - Mar. 1
Beginning Feb. 1 thru Mar. 1, we will be accepting non-perishable food
items for our annual food drive for Interfaith Assistance Ministries & the
Baptist Children’s Homes of NC. Please drop off food donations at the
table at the Receptionist Desk entrance.
Most needed items: canned soups, stew, fruits & vegetables, sauces,
pork n’ beans, peanut butter, jelly, powdered milk, dried beans, rice,
cornmeal, flour, grits, laundry & dish detergent, bar soap, toothpaste &
brushes, shampoo, razors, deodorant, and toilet paper.
We cannot accept home canned foods or opened packages of food.
