Parade Dates: March 21st—March 29th, 2015. This is a scattered site Parade of Homes.
Parade Times: We follow the City of Palm Coast Model Home Ordinance for times.
Monday—Saturday 10 am to 5 pm Sunday— Noon to 5 pm
Locations: All models and communities must be located within Flagler County. Plantation Bay is the
only current exception as agreed to by the Flagler HBA & the Volusia BIA. Other areas near the
political boundaries will be considered on a case by case basis.
Licensing: To enter the Parade of Homes, you must be a licensed and insured contractor.
Decorations & Furnishings: The use of interior decoration in the Parade homes is encouraged but optional.
Gated Communities/Neighborhood Covenants & Restrictions: If there are special requirements to gain
entrance into the Parade Entry, please provide the necessary information to the HBA office
before judging begins. It is the responsibility of the Builder/Entrant to be aware of any rules or practices
which might affect the conduct of the Parade. Keep in mind that if the public in inconvenienced in getting to
your Parade entry, it reflects badly on you and the Parade as well.
General Information:
All sites must be completely landscaped and/or sodded.
There must be no construction activity on the inside or outside of your Parade Entry during the 9 day
Event. Any violation to this policy will result in the loss of any Parade of Homes awards given out for
The 2015 Parade of Homes.
Parade Information
Signs: Builders must return entry & directional signs, and wire stands to the HBA office with in 15 days after
the end of the Parade. Entry sign may be placed in front yard on Wed., March 4th, 2015 and Directional signs
may be placed on Sat. March 21. Please remove the signs each day to avoid them being taken. Do not put in
swales. Remove all Parade signage at 5:00 pm on March 29th, 2015.
All entries must be open, with electrical power during the advertised hours of the Parade of Homes.
* SHOULD your company not have sufficient sales staff during the week days– please contact the
Flagler HBA and we will help you find sales staff for that time period. It is important for consumers
to be able to gain entrance to your model during the Parade of Homes. SHOULD your model not be
able to be open for any reason during any time during the advertised Parade of Homes, you are solely
responsible for placing information on your door explaining when the home will be open.
No exterior signs may be displayed during Parade event except the official Parade of Homes signage
provided by the Flagler HBA, your permanent company sign and one sign offering the home for sale.
Judging of entries will be established by the Flagler HBA. We cannot guarantee exact timing of judges
arrival, therefore all Parade homes should be ready for judging at anytime during the specified date for
Judging . Our local Realtor Association will also be judging for the “Realtors Choice Awards”- again
Your entry should remain open until all judging has been completed. An incomplete entry will not be
judged– there are NO exceptions to this rule. Judging begins at 9 am on March 6th. Any LOCKED
homes will not be judged. All homes must be constructed and finished to professional standards and in
accordance with all recognized codes, ordinances and restrictive covenants.

I hereby agree to enter and have available for viewing, my unoccupied model in the 2015 Parade of
Homes™ . The promotion, advertising and administration of the 2015 Parade of Homes™ will be by the
Flagler County Palm Coast Home Builders Association, Inc. (Flagler HBA). The Flagler HBA will not be
responsible for any damage to models, property and their contents. I understand that my model must be
physically located in Flagler County.
I agree to protect, indemnify and hold harmless the Association, the Parade of Homes™ Committee, their
officers, agents and employees from and against any loss, claim or damage sustained by said parties as a
result of injury to any persons caused, in whole, or in part, by any neglect or default whatsoever.
I agree to abide by the rules and regulations as set forth by the Flagler HBA. All decisions regarding rules,
applications, judging procedures and violations will be made by the Parade of Homes™ Committee and/or
the Flagler HBA Executive Committee, and are final and binding. In the event there is not a Parade
Committee the Executive Committee will have final decision.
Builder acknowledges that the model to be entered in the Parade of Homes™ is the result of an original
design and that he/she is the sole owner of such design and / or has exclusive rights, including copyright, in
and to the design as represented in the structure, plans, specificaions and drawings of the model. Builder
further acknowledges that he/she has not pledged, assigned or encumbered his/her rights to the design and
that such design does not violate any copyright, property or common-law rights of others. Builder hereby
indemnifies and hold harmless the Flagler HBA from any and all claims of third parties, including, but not
limited to, copyright infringement or conversation, which may be asserted as a result of the inclusion of the
model in the Parade of Homes™ or the inclusion of drawings or floor plans of the model in any publication of
Flagler HBA, publicized or in conjunction with the Parade of Homes™.
All entry fees are non refundable for any reason, including incomplete and/or disqualified entries.

Official Parade of Homes Agreement—2013
Furthermore, I will have my insurance company send a certificate of commercial general liability insurance,
in an amount of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) covering builder’s Parade model (s) and showing
on its face the Association as an additional insured. The certificate must cover the dates from March 4th - to
March 30th, 2015. We recommended you consider purchase of privately available Special Event insurance,
