Department at the above address. Correspondence should quote the above
application reference and should arrive no later than 21 days from the date of this
notice.
All representations received will become public documents under the provisions of
the Local Government (Access to Information) Act, 1985 and will be made available
for public inspection.
Due to the sheer volume of letters received in connection with planning proposals,
the Council does not acknowledge or reply to them individually. However, all
representations are fully considered prior to any decision being taken. Copies of
letters are automatically forwarded to the relevant Councillors should the planning
application be determined by Planning Committee. All correspondents will be notified
of the final decision once the application has been determined.
Not all applications are considered at Committee level; the majority are dealt with by
Officers under delegated powers. However, the dates of the forthcoming Planning
Committee meetings to consider major or controversial planning applications are set
out below. To ensure that all relevant information is available for proper
consideration, these dates must be adhered to. Letters received after the date
specified cannot be circulated to individual members although one copy will be
available for the Chairman and one will be placed in the Member’s room.
