Sanjeev has spearheaded the biometric movement in India, right from the inception of the Aadhaar program, and has helped create policies, processes and solutions that will impact a billion people. Sanjeev is also the President of Smart Card Forum of India, a non-profit, multiindustry organisation, promoting the wide spread acceptance of multipleapplication of smart card and biometric technology. He has been actively involved in the establishment of Indian National Standards for Driving Licenses, National IDs and other similar national initiatives. He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications, wireless and technology space. Rajiv Dholakia VP Products Nok Nok Labs Rajiv Dholakia is VP Products at Nok Nok Labs. He has global operating experience in private and public companies spans security, ecommerce, operating systems, and artificial intelligence technologies. Rajiv has been involved with identity, authentication, encryption and trust products and services over two decades at companies like Symantec, PGP, and ValiCert. He has also held senior leadership positions in business, technology and product development at Taligent, Sun Microsystems and IntelliCorp. Rajiv is an advisor to startups and incubators in Silicon Valley, Europe and Asia. He has been a frequent speaker at industry events and consults as an expert for policy and legislative initiatives at the state and federal level. John Bradley Senior Architect Ping Identity John Bradley is Senior Architect in the CIO's Office at Ping Identity. He advises government agencies and commercial organizations on the policy and technical requirements of identity management, federated identity, PKI and smart card solutions. John is Chair of the Federation Interoperability Workgroup and member of the Leadership council at Kantara. He is treasurer of the openID Foundation, on the board of OIX and an active contributor to SAML and other specifications at OASIS. He is one of the leaders of OSIS, and the Kantara Interoperability Review Board, forums that vendors use for industry interoperability testing. He is a contributor to the OAuth 2, JOSE and JWT specifications at the IETF, and one of the main authors of openID Connect. Jean-Francois Ouillet Vice President, Mobile Security Gemalto Jean-Francois Ouillet serves as Vice President Mobile Security at Gemalto. He leads a team bringing to market services enabling mobile operators to provide identity services to citizens, employees and consumers, combining convenience and security. As such he has been deeply involved from the beginning in the GSMA Mobile Connect initiative. Before that he held several management positions in sales, marketing, and strategy in Europe, Asia and Americas, focusing mainly on telecom and solutions. Jean-Paul Cottet SEVP Chairman & CEO Personal Advisor Orange Jean-Paul Cottet is the personal adviser to Stéphane Richard, Chairman and CEO of Orange, in the area of new activities and emerging countries. Jean-Paul has extensive experience in telecommunications and has held various positions within the France Telecom and Orange, covering technical, marketing, information systems, finance, networks, regulatory and communications. Prior to his current role, Jean-Paul has led the company’s Interational Division and also ran the Marketing, Innovation and New Growth division for the Group. He began his career as an engineer at the nuclear plant Tricastin then Chancery Embassy France to Japan. Mung Ki Woo Executive Vice President, Digital Platforms MasterCard Mung Ki Woo is executive vice president, Digital Platforms. In this role, he is responsible for leading the definition, development and operations of MasterCard’s digital platforms around the globe that create a sustainable competitive advantage for MasterCard and its customers. Prior to this role, Mr. Woo ran the Mobile & Industry Alliances group, leading the development and commercialization of mobile payment solutions, as well as alliances with digital players. Previously, he was vice president, Electronic Payments & Transactions at France Telecom–Orange, where he led the development of the “Orange Money” mobile payment program. Mr. Woo was also responsible for commercial deployment of Orange’s mobile contactless services in their major European markets. Prior to joining FT-Orange, Mr. Woo was chief technical officer of a French interbank organization that specialized in electronic money systems, and managed a consulting practice at a French IT firm (Devoteam). He started his career at Thales, working on large defense communication programs for the UK armed forces. Mr. Woo is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom ParisTech. Carsten Ahrens Division Head, Telecommunications Industries Giesecke & Devrient GmbH Carsten Ahrens leads the Division Telecommunication Industries at Giesecke & Devrient GmbH. Having completed his studies in electrical engineering, he brings more than 20 years of experience in various management positions in national and international telecommunications and IT companies. Prior to his most recent positions as Managing Director of Giesecke & Devrient 3S GmbH and as CTO of Funkwerk AG, he served over five years as CEO for the telecommunications equipment supplier Ericsson in the German market. His professional career includes building up business units in leading companies such as Atos Origin. Zafar Kazmi Head of Mobile Payments & Mobile Commerce CaixaBank Zaf Kazmi is the Head of Mobile Payments & Mobile Commerce CaixaBank (“la Caixa”). Zaf is currently leading a number of mobile payments and commerce related initiatives at CaixaBank. He is also part of the ISO TC68/SC7/WG10, currently working towards developing the ISO 12812 standard on Mobile Banking and Payments. Zaf is the Chair of the Mobey Forum’s Host Card Emulation (HCE) Workgroup, as well as being an active member of the Mobey Forum’s Biometrics & Security Workgroup. He is also an active member of the EFMA’s Mobile Banking Advisory Committee and the European Payments Council’s Mobile Channel Technical & Security Workgroup. Mehdi Elhaoussine Convergence & Solutions Director, Americas Region Oberthur Technologies Mehdi Elhaoussine is the Convergence & Solutions Director for the Americas Region at Oberthur Technologies. He leads the region’s activities for Oberthur Technologies payment and mobile convergent platform, including near field communications applications and fully managed Trusted Service Management services, over-the-air service administration platforms, mobile money and smart authentication solutions for online e-shopping and e-banking, for mobile operators, banks and transit authorities. Prior to joining Oberthur Technologies, Mehdi was the EMEA region General Manager with CASSIS International, a provider of TSM platforms. Additionally, his experience in the field of NFC and mobile money was further enhanced as a consultant with France Telecom/Orange group and the World Bank. He has an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Nantes and an MBA from IAE Aix-en-Provence. Thierry Millet Vice President, Mobile Payment and Contactless Orange Thierry Millet is Vice President for Mobile Payments and Contactless Services, and is in charge of mobile payment activities and development of contactless services across the group’s footprint. Before assuming responsibility for this area, Thierry played a vital role in making Orange Romania the country’s Number One operator. As its Chief Executive Officer he extended the leadership, he improved and secured the company’s cash generating profile despite the worst economic crisis in Romania’s history. Thierry also previously headed up the Commercial operations of Orange Romania as Chief Commercial Officer for over three years. During that time, he was responsible with customer service, marketing and sales for consumer and enterprise customers. Thierry’s career with France Telecom-Orange spans over twenty years, and he has held a variety of international senior roles, such as Regional Director Sales Unit, Pays de la Loire”, Chief Information Officer of Intelig Brazil, Sales and Distribution Methods Director Mass Market Division. Thierry graduated from the École Polytechnique and the National School of Telecommunications. Pierre Combelles Head of Mobile Commerce GSMA As head of mobile commerce at the GSMA, Pierre Combelles works closely with the mobile network operator community and the wider vertical industries to foster the development of digital commerce services to benefit businesses and consumers. Before joining the GSMA, Pierre was responsible for open innovation at the Orange Group. Prior to this, he worked broadly across varied technical management roles including in digital broadcasting, broadband wireless access, and IPTV. Pierre graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris.
