Campion Homes to develop
new Dunfermline site
A
N EXCLUSIVE development of villas is to be
built by local builder Campion
Homes in an established area of
Dunfermline.
The firm, based in Dunfermline
for more than 25 years, has acquired an attractive elevated
site off Kingseat Road with fine
southerly views and hope to start
work on the Hawthorn Bank development later this year.
Managing director Pete Bell
said, “This is an excellent site
and as a local company we are
delighted to be bringing such
a high-quality development to
Dunfermline.”
Campion Homes was selected
recently as the launchpad for the
Government’s new £30 million
Help to Buy Scheme for small
and medium-sized developers.
The scheme is designed to support the construction industry
while giving a helping hand to
homebuyers.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon
visited Campion’s Rosemount
development in Leven to launch
this latest version of the scheme
which has already helped more
than 4000 homebuyers purchase

The First Minister said the
funding would open up the market to thousands of buyers and
“help small businesses that are
working to create and protect
jobs”.
Help to Buy is a Scottish
Government scheme by which
the Government takes an equity
stake of between 10 and 20 per
cent of the value of the property
which can be repaid at any time.
