JSA’s and Employment service providers, TAFE’s and Universities • Collaborate with local Aboriginal business providers to consolidate an effective approach towards business opportunity and capacity GP & HEALTH SERVICES PACE PROGRAMS EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING PROGRAMS: • General Physician • Hearing clinics • Dietician • • Outreach mental health services Dental Programs and consultation SHS PROGRAM SPECIALIST HOMELESSNESS SERVICE UPPER AND LOWER HUNTER VALLEY Ungooroo Ungooroo provide support for Aboriginal young people aged 12-24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Ungooroo provide information, resources and practical support that empowers young people towards self reliance and independence. Ungooroo provides early intervention, intense case management, living skills workshops, referrals and advocacy, education and employment support, access to transitional accommodation and support to enter the private rental market. Referrals can be made by support services, schools, family, friends or self referral. We have had successful PACE Programs over several years and have developed healthy strong relationships and collaboration within the Schools of the Upper Hunter to enhance each PACE Program. This has developed into successful MOU’s that have been activated between UAC and Singleton High School. We deliver training under these programs such as: • • • • • • Computer Literacy The Cyber Bullying Internet Safety Financial Management Program Life Skill Training Community Development Art Workshops ELDERS MORNING TEA Ungooroo values our quarterly Elders Morning Teas as an opportunity for our Elders to have a yarn about local issues and create an environment of consultation and open dialogue for upcoming projects and events.
