Thee Carlin Dixon passed away at his home in
Durham, North Carolina on Thursday, February
19, 2015 after a brief illness,
Thee Dixon and his late wife, Frances Gentry
Dixon, founded Mansion Decorators, which is
one of the largest coating contractors in the
nation. Thee Dixon later participated in
NASCAR's Late Model Stock races ultimately
becoming the First African American owner of a

Mitchell; three nephews, Jerry, Kinte and Ali
Love; five sisters- in-law Ella (husband Ben)
Harris, Silvia Higgins, Fostina (husband
Lawrence) Ragland, Joan (husband Larry)
Clayton, Alisa (husband Walter) Clayton; and two
brothers-in-law, Jerry Love and Clinton Gentry;
as well as Goddaughters, Godsons, nephews,
cousins, friends, and employees that will greatly
miss him.
