 Prayer corner: If you would like prayer, an area at the left side of Chapel is
available, please go there and someone with a ministry badge will come to pray with you.
 VOICES ALOUD! An opportunity to meet on Wed. mornings at St. Barnabas for
an hour to explore A Life Worth Living. Why not pop along and join in the discussion.
The group will be of particular benefit for, but not exclusively, the hard of hearing Next
meeting Wed 4th March 10-11am in the lounge. Contact David Bath (Tel: 644780).
 Small Groups: Interested in joining a cell group? Please have a word with Francis,
Daphne or Bev.
 York Minster Parish Pass – if you are planning to visit York Minster soon there are
daytime entry passes available to lend to parishioners – free from the church office.
 Chair Exercises –starts again on Friday 6th March at 1.30 pm but will not take place
on 13th March so back again on 20th March. – All Welcome.

Church Family Together Evenings: Thursday 5th March 7.30-9pm. An evening
for all the church family and friends to gather together (replaces homegroups for that
week it is suggested) starting with coffee and cake and chat (have your tea before you
come!). Christ Church friends and any others very welcome.
 Saltmine presents “John Newton –Amazing Grace” at Beverley Memorial Hall
on 6th March at 7.30pm. More details on the notice board in the foyer.
 March 10.30am Services: please note the following changes from usual pattern 8th: Morning Worship; 15th: Family Communion (joint service 10am); 22nd
Morning Worship; 29th: Family Communion.
 CakeWalk: 9th and 23rd March and 6th April Easter Monday at 9.45am. Cakewalk
from Church car park to Raywell. Please see Bev, Judith or Daphne, or ask for details

 Plans for Mothering Sunday: 15th March. There are special arrangements for this
day; 10am - Joint communion service and then 4pm – All-age ‘Cupcake’ service
with refreshments served at table and activities for all. - More details to follow!
 “Christ-centred Sexuality” – an informed Biblical look at sexuality from an
‘orthodox’ perspective, with John Dunnett (CPAS & General Synod) and Daniel Roe
(of Clifton Church, York). Wednesday March 18th, 7.30-9.30pm at St Mark’s, Anlaby
Common. See notices/ flyers in the foyer for more details.
 Save the date! - Book Launch: Saturday 21st March, 2-4pm in church hall. Please
come and share the launch of Daphne’s new book of Christian Poems, “Walking
with us”. Signed copies available. Refreshments throughout, music and readings
from 2.30pm. A percentage of sales will go to Swanland Village School, Nairobi.
