maximum of 105 credits from regionally accredited
community colleges.

5. We recommend that you apply to the ITAM major one
quarter before you plan to begin taking classes at CWU. This
ensures you will start receiving important advising information
on classes and registration.
BAS-ITAM Admission Requirements
1. Completion of an applied or technical degree from a
community college or technical college with a minimum GPA
of 2.3.
2. A world language is not required.
3. In addition to the BAS-ITAM core courses, students must
select a specialization. Each specialization has unique
admision requirements:
* It is recommended students complete as much of the General
Education Requirements as possible; taking at least ENGL& 101, one of
the listed Math classes, and a lab science class during their time at
Peninsula College.
** There are no direct course equivalencies, however these courses will
satisfy CWU General Education requirements. Go to:

*** For purposes of meeting interdisciplinary requirements BOT is
considered to be in the same discipline as BIOL and BIOL&.

Administrative Management: Any professional/ technical
associate degree with at least 40 credits in an applied area.
Cyber Security: A professional/ technical degree in a
computer related discipline, or department permission.
Information Technology: A completed two-year computer
related degree program which contains at least 40 credits
in computer related classes.

Graduation Requirements
1. This document does not substitute for meeting with your
advisor. See the current CWU catalog for complete degree
requirements.
2. Completion of the BAS-ITAM core requirements and one of
the BAS-ITAM specialization list of courses with a minimum
grade of C- in each course.
3. Complete 180 total credits (including transfer credits) with a
minimum of 60 credits in upper-division courses with a
minimum overall GPA of 2.3.
4. Review Advisement Reports regularly to check your satus
towards completion of all university requirements.
5. CWU Basic and Breadth requirements, except world
languages and computing fundamentals, must be completed
prior to graduation. A world language is NOT required for this
degree.
