CoVAULT™ Colocation Cabinets

CoVAULT ™ Colocation Cabinets
Dual-Compartment Racks
Model: ECM2-4539C-XX-X
Securely house multiple clients in a single rack!
Electrorack’s CoVAULT™ Colocation Cabinets are designed to securely house
multiple tenants within the same footprint of a single rack. In colocation environments, many tenants don’t require a full rack to house their equipment - but they
certainly expect their equipment to be protected from unauthorized access. With
CoVAULT, colocation providers now have a cost-effective method to maximize
space utilization while providing their clients the comfort of knowing their
equipment is well protected.
Built on our successful Eclipse™ server enclosure platform, we’ve designed our
multiple-compartment racks to gang to our full-height Eclipse racks, allowing
continuous rows of mixed-environment enclosures. With a multitude of locking
options, from mechanical key to electronic locks, we provide unique locking for
each compartment. Cable ducts inside the rack provide secure, separate cable
passages for power and data lines through the top or bottom compartment or one
through each, accommodating cable entry from overhead or from under a raised
floor. And, our Inter-bay Divider Panels provide thermal separation as well as security from the next rack. Our optional removable cable ports in the Inter-bay panels
allow potential expansion of a given client without having to remove all of their
existing equipment.
Features
• Secure Cable Pathways: Internal cable duct system provides separate
pathways for power and data to pass securely through the bay of the
other occupant to prevent any tampering. Duct covers are only removable if access to both compartments is granted via facilities personnel.
• Reversible Cable Ducts: Cable ducts are movable, allowing cables to
enter through the top or bottom of the rack. If data and power enter
from separate ends, one duct passes through the top and one through
the bottom.
• Multiple Lock Options: Standard combination locks allow users to define
their own lock code while the master key override gives facilities personnel access to the rack. These locks reduce the hassle of managing
large quantities of mechanical keys. Other options are also available.
• Zero-footprint Inter-bay Divider Panels: Protect each rack from the
adjacent rack via Inter-bay Divider Panels. Panels are flush and don’t
add any width to the racks, maintaining alignment with 24” floor tiles.
• Gang to Full-height Single-bay Cabinets: Uniform look delivered when
ganged to a standard Eclipse enclosure of the same height and depth.
• Independent Mounting Angle Adjustment: Unique Uni-strut design
provides infinite independent adjustment of top & bottom angles.
• 180 Degree Door Swing: Self-contained, lift-off hinges provide 180
degrees of door swing to simplify moving, adding or changing equipment
without removing the door.

CoVAULT™ colocation cabinets deliver the perfect combination of form, function and
security. The curved, mesh front doors offer an aesthetically pleasing look while the
robust 4-Unistrut frame provides the foundation for securely housing 2 clients in the
same rack.
Front and rear doors of each compartment open independently at a full 180
degrees, maximizing equipment access without removing the door. The horizontal divider shelf and internal cable duct system protect the integrity of
each occupant’s systems.
