Conditions Of Entry 2015
1. Conditions Of Entry:
The DVCCC Photo Travel Circuit is open to all photographers around the world,
however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its
reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to the exhibition rules and
conditions..
Entries are limited to not more than 4 images per section, category, or class.An
entrant’s four images will be distributed throughout four rounds of judging in that
section.
There are no restrictions as to subject matter except as outlined in Section 5, or
specified by law in the country where the exhibition is held.
The exhibition is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the
sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry
does not conform to the exhibition rules and conditions.
Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity)
made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of
submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own (aliases are not permitted).
The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of
charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may
include low resolution posting on a website. Note: Entrants who indicate that their
images may not be reproduced will be disqualified.
The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright by the entrant.
Each image must have a unique title. Once an image has been accepted in a PSA
Recognized exhibition, that same image, or a like “in camera” or a “reproduction”
duplicate of that image:
a) May not be re-entered in any section of the same Division Star Ratings class
in that exhibition regardless of media, format, or title.
b) May not be re-titled for entry in any other PSA Recognized exhibition.
c) Words such as “Untitled” and “No Title” are not acceptable as part or all of
an image’s title, nor are camera capture file names or titles consisting of only
numbers.
No title or identification of the maker shall be visible anywhere on the face of an image,
entered in a PSA Recognized exhibition.
The maximum horizontal dimension of pictures entered is 1400 pixels, and the maximum
vertical dimension is 1050 pixels, and must be submitted in the jpeg format.

5. Sections:
There will be two Sections. Both sections must meet the Photo Travel Division
criteria: A Photo Travel image must express the feeling of a time and place and
portray a land, its distinctive features or culture in its natural state. There are no
geographical limitations. Close up pictures of people or objects must include
distinguishable environment.Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove
any element of the original image, except by cropping, are not permitted. All
adjustments must appear natural. Conversion to full monochrome is acceptable.
Derivations, including infrared, are unacceptable
The definition of Photo Travel will be read to the judges before the start of
judging.
To be eligible for the DVCCC Member Sliver Metal, the candidate must belong
to a member club of the DVCCC.

DVCCC Silver: Best Child Picture
DVCCC Silver: Best Story Telling Picture
DVCCC Silver: Best DVCCC Member Picture
DVCCC Bronze: Judges Choice (Three Metals awarded)
B. Photo Travel -- Theme
The photo travel theme for the DVCCC 2014 Circuit is “Human Activity.” Images
must also meet the Photo Travel criteria above.
The metals offered in the Theme section are:

DVCCC Silver: Best “People at Work” Picture
DVCCC Silver: Best “People at Play” Picture
DVCCC Silver: Best DVCCC Member Picture
DVCCC Bronze: Judges Choice (Three Metals awarded)
4. Entry Form:
All pictures must be submitted electronically. The Entry Form is available on this
website: http://www.dvcccpt.org/
5. Judging:
Judging will be done by projecting images on a screen with an Electronic Projector at a
resolution of 1400 X 1050 set to 16.7 million colors. The projector will be calibrated to the
sRGB color space. In each section the entrant’s four images will be distributed randomly.
Three judges will be used with a score from each judge ranging from 1 to 5. The sum of the
three scores will be used to determine acceptance. Each Image will have a Minimum score 3,
Maximum Possible Score is 15.
6. Entry Fee:
The Entry Fee is 13 USD for one section and 18 USD for both sections. This fee
structure is the same for both the United States of America and over seas entries.
PayPal or Cash USD must be used to make payment. Checks and money orders must
be in U.S. funds on a U.S. Bank. Checks shall be made out to: DVCCC and sent to:

Entries received without fee will not be judged. Fee must be received by the
closing date (See DVCCC Photo Travel Circuit Page for closing dates.)
7. Dates and Location of Judgings:
Pine Barrens Exhibition: March 14, 2015; Cherry Hill, NJ
Colonial Exhibition: April 4, 2015; Philadelphia, PA
Brandywine Exhibition: May 2, 2015; Wilmington, DE
8. Acceptance Results:
The results notifications for each person entering will be sent one week after each of
the three exhibitions.
After all three exhibitions have been compiled a catalog will be produced listing the
acceptance and awards given for each image. The information of which images
received acceptances will be sent to PSA Photo Travel Star Rating Director. The
catalog with color reproduction of the award winning images will be posted as a PDF
on the DVCCC Web Site: http://www.dvccc-photo.org no later than June 30, 2015.
