VACANCY
Controller Inbound
Location: Husab Mine, Swakopmund
Reports to the Manager: Logistics
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To co-ordinate transport, receiving, storage and distribution of goods, material and equipment which are arriving at the
warehouse premises, i.e. the receipt, storage and distribution of goods, material and equipment bought/procured from
other companies/suppliers for customer as they are required at Swakop Uranium.
Key Performance Areas:

Inbound Transportation and Resolution of Deviations/Queries: Responsible for effective and efficient day-to-day inbound
transportation planning in collaboration with Logistics Manager; reviews, verifies and files documents received related to
delivered goods.
 Receiving Storage and Distribution: Inspects and verifies counts on all goods, material equipment received for the day and
submits daily receiving documentation required per standard policies and procedures; analyzes all aspects of inbound
logistics control to meet the demands of end users, and to ensure adequate stocks of goods, materials and equipment are
on hand for distribution purposes.
Requirements and experience:


Grade 12 with National Diploma in Supply Chain/Materials Handling or Logistics Management.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license coupled with a Forklift Truck Operating Licence.

Minimum 3 years’ experience with a proven record of inbound logistics management.
