The Spring trip to the upper region of the Amazon River Basin in Peru is scheduled for April 114. Team members include Wally Shelton, Charles and Barbara Neal, and Steve Rodriguez. Barbara will be leading the second women’s conference at the main church in San Lorenzo. Over 200 women from the Shawi tribe are planning to attend. The Shawi tribe is an unreached people group. Only last week Pastor Raimundo met with members of the Shawi tribe and they are open to hearing more of the Gospel. Praise God! While Barbara stays in San Lorenzo, Wally, Charles, and Steve will travel up to Puerto Algeria on Easter Sunday to dedicate the new church building and set in the new pastor. This is the town where the mayor gave us a lot to build a church. Through offerings from CFC, money was sent to build the church and in just one year it is full. The next morning they will travel up the Marona River to Mayuriagam for a 3day conference with the Wampis tribe. This is another unreached people group and over 250 tribal leaders have committed to come and hear more of the Gospel. We need your help today… for the team to minister to the Shawi and Wampis tribes we need to raise $12,000 by March 5th.
