The Copland Leadership Program is CEDA’s professional development program
for future leaders across corporate, government and community sectors.

This seven-module experiential program provides professionals with the
opportunity to develop their organisational leadership skills and define the type
of leader they wish to become. Participants are provided with exclusive access
to some of Australia’s top business leaders, who will share their insights and
experience in highly interactive and informative group sessions.

The program’s intake is limited to ensure an intimate and personalised learning
experience. Participants will develop an excellent network across a broad range
of industries, aiding their personal and professional development.
Designed to transform leadership skills
The Copland Leadership Program challenges conventional leadership thinking
and teaches participants to act decisively in complex situations.
Who should participate?
The Copland Leadership Program is designed for talented and motivated
emerging leaders of any age who are looking to build their leadership skills and
accelerate their careers.
Copland candidates will have attained certain success in their chosen professions
with demonstrated intellectual rigour, but now want to elevate their performance
along the path to leadership.
Participants come from a broad range of sectors, roles and background. Each
Copland cohort features a dynamic mix of people from different fields of expertise,
which enables the group to discuss topics a diverse range of viewpoints.
Learning modules
The Copland Leadership Program delivers cutting-edge theoretical frameworks
and interactive discussions and activities with participants on leadership skills
and experiences. Case study presentations from top-tier corporate and public
sector leaders will enhance the leadership development of participants.
The program offers seven monthly sessions from May to November, and has
been designed to ensure a balance between work and learning can be achieved.

Dianna has delivered the Copland Leadership Program since 2012 and is highly
regarded by past participants.
Dianna is one of WA’s leading facilitators with expertise in the leadership of
teams and creating opportunities to collaborate and challenge their thinking
using learning processes to address business challenges. Dianna’s local and
international experience in the fields of organisational development design,
cascading strategic initiatives and innovation extends over 30 years across
multiple industry sectors.
Dianna is the Director of Innovation Culture, a private consulting group that
provides leadership support for innovative cultures, enhancing self-direct
leadership decisions during ambiguity and transformational change. She often
consults in emerging and innovative business or industry service models.
Dianna has had extensive experience in lecturing on MBA programs, where she
delivered on a range of units including Strategic Human Resource Management,
Organisational Behaviour and Leading Change and Innovation.

Academic articles: Participants will be provided with an academic article
prior to each session that will further develop their background knowledge and
understanding of the theory discussed during each module.
Attend a CEDA event: Participants will be invited to attend a CEDA public
forum complimentarily while they are undertaking the program to experience the
benefits CEDA has to offer.
Public recognition: Participants will also receive a complimentary invitation to
attend CEDA’s flagship 2016 Economic and Political Overview, where the 2015
Copland alumni will be formally recognised.
Alumni network: CEDA conducts regular sundowner events for young
professionals and emerging leaders called the Copland Future Leaders Series.

Cancellation:
CEDA reserves the right to postpone or cancel the program
in the event that insufficient registrations are received
by the closing date. CEDA will refund in full all monies
paid in the event that CEDA cancels the event. CEDA is
not responsible for any other costs, claims, liabilities or
compensation in the event that it may cancel the program.
If registrants cancel before the program has commenced,
the following refunds will apply:
• More than one month before start date – 90 per cent
refund
• Three weeks before start date – 75 per cent refund
• Two weeks before start date – 50 per cent refund

If participants cancel after the commencement of
program, no refund applies.
