Parkview Parents - Re-enrollment for existing families of Parkview Christian
Academy opened on February 2nd. You should have received an email last
week with a link for re-enrollment. Be sure to follow the link. You DO NOT need
to complete a new application. If you are planning to enroll your child for the
2015-2016 school year at Parkview Christian Academy, keep in mind that some
grades will fill quickly, even prior to open enrollment, and you are advised to
enroll as soon as it is open. This will ensure your child's spot.
Legacy Banquet – Save the date for our annual Legacy Banquet. It will be a
great time to fellowship with other Parkview families while enjoying a great meal,
a live and silent auction, and a wonderful program. Plan to join us on April 25 th
from 4:30-9:30 p.m. at Helmar Lutheran Church (our Jr/Sr High Campus) located
at 11935 Lisbon Road, Newark, IL. Tickets are $30 per person and are
available in the office. If you know of any businesses that may want to donate
items for our live or silent auction, please contact Manda Zappia at
[email protected]. PCA thanks you for your support.
Box Tops For Education - Our goal is to reach $1000 for our school by
collecting box tops!! We are getting close. If you have any box tops (or know of
anyone who has box tops), please get them into the school by February 23rd.
Every box top counts! We are attaching the box tops sheet again.
Daddy/Daughter Dance – All Daddies and Daughters at Parkview are invited to
attend the Daddy/Daughter Dance on Saturday, March 14th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
in the gym. Invitations should be coming home in your daughter’s backpack.
Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser – Join us at Buffalo Wild Wings in Oswego on
Monday, February 23rd, between 11 a.m. and midnight. Be sure to take the
attached flyer with you so that Parkview will receive a portion of the proceeds.

Community News
8 Days Movie Event - This movie gives a very realistic view into a 16 year old
girl who was trafficked for 8 days based on actual events and is being shown on
February 24th at 6:30 in Naperville. Tickets can be ordered in advance at
https://www.tugg.com/events/13172.
Creation Fair – Cross Lutheran is holding a Creation Fair on Saturday, February
28th, with David D’Armond presenting four sessions on creation. You can come
and go any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
