Easter holiday bus, train and ferry services Here’s a summary of how your buses, trains and Mersey Ferries are running during the Easter 2015 holiday: Maundy Thursday, 2 April 2015 all services will run to their usual Thursday timetables. Good Friday, 3 April 2015 Buses will run to their bank holiday timetables. Check individual timetables for details, but this generally means that buses will run to Sunday timetables. Merseytravel Bus Services will run to Sunday timetables and, if not specified in individual timetables, will start running at about 0800. Trains: City Line trains will run to their usual Friday timetables. Northern and Wirral Line trains will run to Saturday timetables. Borderlands Line trains will run to their bank holiday timetable. Mersey Ferries will run to a weekend timetable. Easter Saturday, 4 April 2015 all services will run to their usual Saturday timetables. Easter Sunday, 5 April 2015 all services will run to their usual Sunday timetables. Northern Line trains between Southport and Liverpool Central will run every 15 minutes. Easter Monday, 6 April 2015 Buses will run to their bank holiday timetables. Check individual timetables for details, but this generally means that buses will run to Sunday timetables. Bootle Travel Centre: will be closed on Friday 3, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April. Huyton Travel Centre: will be closed on Friday 3, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April. St Helens Travel Centre: will be closed on Friday 3, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April. Normal Travel Centre opening hours are 0830 - 1800 on Monday to Saturday. On bank and public holidays, Queen Square and Birkenhead Travel Centres will be open from 1000 - 1700.
