Broad Street Chamber Players Lost Radio Rounders The Singing
Sunday Concerts at GPL Broad Street Chamber Sunday Players March 8 2pm Flutist Elizabeth Chinery, pianist David Smith, and cellist Jay Shulman will perform works by Handel, Saint-Saens, Haydn, and other composers. This versatile chamber music trio offers a wide array of tone, color, and timbres. Lost Radio Rounders Sunday April 12 2pm Michael Eck & Thomas Lindsay are “upstate New York’s premiere acoustic Americana duo.” Their “Selections from Alan Lomax’s The Folk Songs of North America” program pays tribute to one of the foremost collectors of 20th century folk music. “Tom Dooley” & “The Wabash Cannonball” are just a few classics you may hear. The Singing Anchors Sunday May 17 2pm Your favorite trio of singing news anchors is back by popular demand! WNYT’s Benita Zahn and Jessica Layton, and Jerry Gretzinger (who’s given up his anchor chair at CBS6, but who cares?) will fill GPL’s Helderberg Room with their delightful harmonies and comedic riffs.
