pound lean ground beef
small onion, chopped
8 oz can tomato sauce
package (1 ½ oz) taco seasoning
small can chopped olives
cup Cottage cheese
egg
½ cups Mozzarella cheese, grated
oz La Tolteca® White Corn Tortilla Chips
cup Cheddar cheese, grated
4 ½ oz can green chilies
Directions
Combine ground beef and onions, brown lightly. Add tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil, add olives.
Combine Cottage cheese and egg.
Layer 1/3 of La Tolteca® tortilla chips in a shallow 11 ½ x 8 x 2 in. baking dish. Top layer by layer with ½ meat sauce,
½ of Cottage cheese mix, ½ of Mozzarella cheese, and ½ of chilies. Repeat layers and top with Cheddar cheese.
Bake covered at 320°F for 30 minutes.
