Slipping Along
With Delana Hornbeck | march 20 & 21 | Friday & saturday 10am - 4 PM
Explore the many possibilities of using colored slips, Squaffito, slip trailing, mishima, layered colored slips, marbleizing and
mocha-tea. We will make a series of tiles, each with a different technique, which can later be applied to your own pieces.
$200 + $20 lab fee. Includes 12 lbs. of clay, 2 kiln firings and glazes. Maximum 10 students, so sign up now!
Raku Firings
Friday march 6 & Friday march 27 | 10am - 3pm or till you finish!
$55 for current class members | $65 for non-class members
Includes glazes, firing and use of studio while firing. Limited to 5 pieces per person.
Participants must wear closed toed shoes and long pants. Non-class members must use clay purchased from Carla’s Clay
Get a Handle On It!
with Jane Freund | Friday april 10 | 10am - 4pm
Enhance your wheel thrown or hand built pottery with functional — and fun — handles. We’ll explore pulled and textured
slab handles, even creating whimsical clay animals to perch on top of lids. Bring along your favorite pieces of china, glass,
metal, wood, stones and seashells — and Jane will share her techniques for incorporating them into your work.

Come see the awesome fish works and sale by Alan Bennett. Alan Bennett is an amazing
artist and teacher and participant of the Sarasota Craft Show at Robarts Arena. From Bath
N.Y., Alan is nationally renowned for his realistic aquatic artworks made of clay.
Clay Date
Birthday party. A girl’s night out. Bachelorette bash. Just for fun.
Fun for all ages! Must have at least 4 people for days and 6 for evening hours. Bring food and drink and make it a party!
$15 per hour per person, and includes instruction, materials and firing.
