DataSheet TS 102 924/925 (Code 60035) Superwideband/Fullband Speech Quality Overview TS 102 924/925 contains measurements from “ETSI Speech and multimedia Transmission Quality (STQ); Transmission requirements for Superwideband/ Fullband handsfree and conferencing/ headset terminals from a QoS perspective as perceived by the user” which specifies test methods to assess minimum performance requirements for Superwideband and Fullband terminals. HEAD acoustics has implemented these test methods into the automated test suite TS 102 924/925 for the communication quality analysis system ACQUA. ACQUA User Interface with Measurement Tree and Result Diagram Window for TS 102 924/925 DESCRIPTION APPLICATIONS The tests implemented in the TS 102 924/925 test suite cover basic electro-acoustic performance aspects of Superwideband/Fullband hands-free and headset terminals as defined and required by ETSI in the documents “ETSI TS 102 924/925” from October 2014. These tests cover requirements for handsfree and headset configurations. The measurements in the HEAD acoustics test suite may be changed, adapted or modified if needed in order to conduct additional tests. The tests can be combined in any way to create individual test sequences. Combined with the advanced communication quality analysis system ACQUA, the measurement front ends MFE VI.1 and MFE VIII.1 as well as other components, the TS 102 924/925 test suite with its predefined measurement descriptors and automated measurement sequences allows the fast and easy acquisition, analysis and documentation of measurement data. •Conformance testing of Superwideband and Fullband hands-free and headset terminals according to “TS 102 924/925” by ETSI •Automated quality analysis of Superwideband and Fullband hands-free and headset terminals •Experimental development and optimization of Superwideband and Fullband hands-free and headset terminals with objective evaluation of speech quality (requires ACOPT 30 POLQA) SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS TS 102 924/925 (Code 60035) requires the following system components: •ACQUA Communication Analysis System as one of the following variants (version 3.3.100 or later): - Full License (Code 6810) - Workplace (Code 6830, for postanalysis and documentation only) - Compact Systems (Code 6860.xx) •MFE VI.1 Measurement Front End with integrated mouth amplifier (Code 6462) •MFEVI-BEQ Binaural Equalizer Option for MFE VI.1(Code 6461) 02.15 D60035e0 Subject to change, valid since standard implementation Rev01 •HMS II.3-33 Head and Torso Simulator (HATS) according to ITU-T P.57 and P.58 with pinna type 3.3 (Code 1230.1).
