Learning a musical instrument
provides rich opportunities for
enjoyment and performance
both in the present and for
many years to come.
Learning music from an early
age increases the brain’s
potential with benefits evident
in literacy, numeracy, social
skills and self-confidence.
It is no surprise that in many
countries, learning a musical
instrument is compulsory in
schools.
