Established in 1985 on Sunset Blvd as the
first Filipino US-based bibingkahanpancitan, Manila Sunset has, through the
years, made available to FilIpino-American
communities in several major US cities the
types of foods reminiscent of home cooking,
the recipes evolved by experience and time,
through generations, and kept as heirloom,
trade secret.
Manila Sunset offers “trademark Filipino
foods” of happy times together, such as
Bibingkang Galapong and Puto
Bumbong which are traditionally found in
church plazas and roadside stalls only during the Christmas Season. Our bestseller,
Pancit Malabon, is prepared from a
well-guarded recipe from the fishing village
of Malabon where the name of this delicacy came from.
