EXPANSION & UPGRADING OF EMB-IX LABORATORY AND
STRUCTURAL BUILDINGS
A year ago, the Environmental Management Bureau IX started a series of building construction to
upgrade its facilities aimed at improving the office working conditions. These were all
implemented under the administration of OIC, RD Jacqueline A. Caancan. Among the main
structures that were built are
the Center Building for the
Regional Director’s Office and
Conference Room; renovation of
the old two-storey DENR-ERDS
building for the expansion of
EMB IX Laboratory & Hostel
while a portion of it is being
prepared for the construction of
the new Technical Divisions

Aside from the additional facilities being introduced
in the EMB-IX Regional Office, the transfer of the
EMB IX Satellite Office in the new DENR-IX Building
in Pagadian City is likewise on-going.
The EMB-9 Satellite Office being set up within
the new DENR-9 building at Pagadian City.
