TASK: RESEARCH / SOURCE ANALYSIS / ORAL TASK
In this task you are to:

Research ONE topic that reflects your individual interests. Choose either from the attached list or
a topic that has been discussed with your teacher.
Formulate a question relating to your investigation that uses either „Assess‟ or „Evaluate‟ or „To
what extent‟.
Deliver your findings to the class in a 3 minute Oral Presentation that incorporates a multimedia presentation which can be in the form of a PowerPoint, Prezi, video or some other form
negotiated with your teacher. The speech component of the presentation must be at least 3
minutes in duration. Your overall presentation will be stopped at 3 minutes 30 seconds
On Wednesday 25th March, 2015 you will submit the hard copy of your speech including the
electronic multi-media component, as well as the research log with a bibliography. The research
log contributes 5% to the weighting of this task.
A copy of this task is available on the TEC website and Phone App for students to prepare their
response.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
* The Campus Assessment Policy and procedures MUST be followed.
* Tasks must be completed or handed in on the due date during the regular class.
* Tasks that are handed in late may receive ZERO (0) marks and an N Warning letter issued.
