Yamada Shihan regularly teaches in Hong Kong and in South East Asia as well as in Russia, the Netherlands and in South America. Yamada Shihan is also an eminent Shihan in the traditional martial art of Katori Shinto Ryu. Katori Shinto Ryu has a history of over 600 years and is renowned as the oldest martial art in Japan. Hong Kong Aikido Kan is pleased to host the Hironobu Yamada Shihan 2015 Aikido Seminar on Sunday, 22nd March 2015. All Aikikai members are welcomed to join. A dinner gathering will be held after the class on a cost sharing basis. Participants wishing to join the dinner please indicate on the Registration Form on application. Details please refer to the joining instructions below. Katori Shito Ryu has many elements and involved various traditional weapons. This year Yamada Shihan specially agreed to teach in a Katori Shito Ryu Iaijutsu (sword drawing techniques) Seminar on Monday, 23rd March 2015. This is a very special occasion for all Aikikai members to experience the teaching of Katori Shinto Ryu. Details please refer to the joining instructions below.
