Upcoming College Visits: Upcoming college visits are scheduled in the Guidance Office. Please
stop by the Guidance Office to receive a pass to visit with a representative from their college
admission offices on the dates below. The reps will meet with interested students to discuss
topics such as academic programs, campus life, financial aid and admission procedure of their
college. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are welcome to meet with the college reps. tw.

beginning 3/11. Tickets will be on sale during lunch hours during the week of March 23 - 27. Ticket prices PER TICKET are:
Seniors: $45 and Juniors $50.
In order to buy your tickets AND reserve your seats, please have ALL of the following:
1. Money (cash or check - make checks out to MTHS).
2. COMPLETED Dinner Request Forms (find these in the Main Office)
3. COMPLETED Date Request Forms (for attendees who are not MTHS students).
Bring ALL of the above to the sales table in the lunchroom. Once you have paid and turned in all your forms, you will be given your
tickets and will be allowed to reserve seats at specific tables. You may ONLY reserve seats for the number of tickets you buy. First
come, first served. ah.

Seniors Interested in Health Careers: All seniors that are interested in pursuing a career in the health field should consider
attending the Health Career Expo held at Jump Trading Simulation and Education Center (OSF), Wednesday March 17th. Mrs. Doty
will be taking a group of students over to experience this amazing facility. Bus leaves from the front of the school at 8:15 and we
will return at 2:45, lunch is provided. There are opening available on a first come basis. Please see Mrs. Doty ASAP if you are
interested in attending. For those that still have your permission forms out remember they are due by today!. ld.
Spring Musical: The Spring Musical, Les Miserables opens Thursday, March 19th and runs through Sunday the 22nd here at
MTHS. Get your tickets NOW from Mrs. DeBolt in the auditorium office. You won't want to miss this ambitious production.

Boys Basketball Fans: If enough students sign up, there will be a fan bus to Mendota for the boys regional game tonight (March
6th). The bus will leave the student parking lot at 5:15 pm for the 7:00 pm and will arrive back at MTHS at approximately 10:00 pm.
You must sign up in the main office by 1:00 pm Friday. If you ride the bus to the game, you must ride the bus back home from the
game. The fan bus is free but admission into the IHSA game is $4.00 per person.

Boys Basketball Fans: If enough students sign up, there will be a fan bus to Mendota for the boys regional game on Friday, March
6th. The bus will leave the student parking lot at 5:15 pm for the 7:00 pm and will arrive back at MTHS at approximately 10:00 pm.
You must sign up in the main office by 1:00 pm Friday. If you ride the bus to the game, you must ride the bus back home from the
game. The fan bus is free but admission into the IHSA game is $4.00 per person.

St. Jude Fundraiser: METAMORA TO PEORIA ST. JUDE RUN!! A reminder of the Metamora to Peoria Run for St. Jude will
be held tonight at Metamora Fields starting at 6:30 p.m.. If you have thought about this RUN before and thought "I should do that"
come tonight to get info on completing that goal! You must be 16 or 17 to run and need a parent to accompany you on this RUN. If
you are 18 or older you may run on your own. This is a fund raiser for St. Jude Hospital. Last year the Metamora Run (in its first
year) raised $65,000 (a record for a 1st year Run). Learn more tonight at Metamora Fields - 6:30 p.m. !!

Metamora St. Jude Runs team. If you are 16/17 years old, a parent must also be running on the day of the run. 18 and older can
participate without a parent. This is a fundraising event and our small community broke a first year fundraising record last year of
$65,000 and every cent went to the children and families of St. Jude. If you are interested in learning more, please join us Thursday,

• Seniors: Get the day off to job shadow, visit colleges, or catch up on homework
• Juniors: Take the ACT test and will be dismissed after testing,approximately at 12:30pm
• Sophomores: Take the ACT Review test until 12:10pm, lunch 12:10-12:30, speaker 12:30, dismissed at 1:40pm
• Freshmen: Go through the “Real World” career and budgeting simulation. Students test their ability to make it in the “Real World”
by choosing a career, making lifestyle decisions, and budgeting expenses that adults face on a regular bases. In addition, they will
be involved in team building exercises and have speakers advise them for a successful future. Lunch 12:10-12:30, speaker 12:30,
