So many wonderful Como volunteers make this awesome tournament event possible. Of course Bud, Jim and Holly are the main reason the tournament runs as well as it does. SBS is always a challenge for the Como staff as well; however, like the trio of organizers they always seem to get through it unscathed. If you've never worked with Roger and Hope in the Food Court, you cannot imagine all the hard work and dedication they put into providing great food at reasonable prices. From shopping for the food, setting up the serving area and cooking the food up fresh, to cleaning up and tearing everything down … this couple is amazing. Of course, they always have great volunteers working with them as well. The best part of the SBS volleyball, is the players and spectators who come year after year (this was the 14th annual event!) to make Como their vacation destination during the event. Food was great, entertainment was great and smiling faces made it all worthwhile. Here's to next year! –Arlene We will be posting more SBS pictures, along with the winning teams in the next issue of the Flash. Also see Next year’s SBS tournament is March 4th to 13th, 2016 Balls & paddles are available for your use anytime in the cabinet at the courts. Rules online at: usapa.org We will be hosting four students from the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts for this student project, “exploring nudism/naturism not only as a lifestyle choice, but also as a reaction to the popular misconceptions of what our body is.” (Student director Jamie Blackband). Great bar, pool, hotub, sauna, etc. The staff is very nice and I highly recommend it!!” – “Magnolia” … March 16, 2015 “Had a great time there today.” “It was my first nudist experience and I'm glad I chose Como. It was very affordable when compared to the others. Some of the facilities are a little dated, but they are trying to build new/renovate the property. Very laid back, not pervy at all. I felt very comfortable (other than the slightly cool breeze). Was very nervous about going, but am glad I did. I will definitely try again on some sunny day. Got one thing crossed off my bucket list.” – “ajtour” … February 2015 to our Easter celebration Sunday April 5th.
