The proposed software solution is made up of two separate modules, one web-based developed in ASP.Net with C# and another Windows application based on Windows Forms. The first module is designed for the shops management and the second for the commercial part. Both environments are connected through a database made in Microsoft SQL Server 2008. The programming was done in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. Master Projects 2012 - The project was conducted DROPSTUFF.nl is a "museum without walls", a unique digital cultural infrastructure of networked public displays. These screens show artwork artistic media and interactive games. The goal is to increase visibility and increase public participation in cultural products. The animation was done in Autodesk Maya. I used particle systems and fluid containers to create almost everything in this animation: Space and Galaxy, the planet's atmosphere and clouds, falling star trail and explosion. One of the greatest things about particles is their interaction with each other and rest of the digital environment using forces like gravity, turbulences, winds and others, making the animation more realistic. Link: http://youtu.be/W1-DEznrc0c 2012 - Night of Culture project - in collaboration with House of Culture in Breda, Netherlands - The animation had to illustrate something related to heritage, a moment from the town’s history, and it was screened at the Culture Night in Breda for a few days. I reconstructed the Museum of Breda in 3D, I learnt that the process of creating a character is a long lasting and meticulous job. Starting with the basic character modeling and skeleton creation, the most complex part is rigging and the fine tuning of the skin weights. Also worked with hair systems, having used Maya’s Shave and Hair plug-in, as well as others. Also I have experimented with nCloth and Qualoth plug-ins that handle cloth simulations. Link: http://youtu.be/kQcGP6D8xy8 2013 – Final Project – Virtuality - For this project I used motion tracking, roto-scoping and movie matching on footage made with a Canon 7D. It was done with only the tools that I had at hand: a small studio, a Canon 7D, some lights, me as an actor and two computers. Also the sound design was done by myself which includes the audio and voice effects, although the voices were not mine, but recorded by a speaker from a local radio station. The computer graphics were done in Autodesk Maya and post-processed in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier, the sounds were processed in Audacity freeware software for recording and editing sounds. Wanting to create a virtual reality in which anything could happen or could be created, I started thinking again about the thing that fascinates me – Space. There, not far away from Earth, on the International Space Station, a secret and intriguing experiment takes place, codename “Virtuality”. After a short conversation between Mission Control and the Space Station, establishing that the live stream is in order, the experiment starts with the astronaut entering the module. On this project I worked a lot on reconstructing the real environment into 3D space and match move it with the live footage of the hands. The most time consuming was motion tracking and camera solving as fine tuning was needed in order to make the motion fluent and seamlessly match with each other. Other than this I worked with fluid, as well as object breaking simulations in Real Flow to make tea pour into the glass and break afterwards. In doing this I exercising the process of using and making simulations in this software which is amazing. Link: http://youtu.be/i8HAmLrMoLc Page 3 of 3 Curriculum vitae of Craina, Vlad
