Introduction
The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) has been established by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of
2009) at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the
Government of India during the UGC XI Plan Period to address to the concerns of ‘equity and access’
and to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed
districts which have a Graduate Enrolment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%.
The CUK, with its territorial jurisdiction all over Karnataka has been initiated its activities from the
academic year beginning August 2009 in keeping with the philosophy of achieving and maintaining
the highest levels of academic excellence, sensitivity to equity and access in enrolment and
recruitment and emerging as a premier national educational and research institution in the country.
621 acres of land at Kadaganchi Suntanur villages on the Gulbarga-Waghdhari Inter-State Highway in
Aland taluka identified by the Karnataka State Government has been handed over to the university,

Submission of EOI
The EOI shall be submitted in sealed cover. The proposal should be submitted in the hard
copy format at the following Address Latest by 24th March 2015 up to 12:00 pm

The envelopes shall bear Supply of Bio-feedback and Neuro-feedback systems,
Hardware, and Software”, the EOI number and the words ‘DO NOT OPEN BEFORE (due
date & time)’.
The envelope shall indicate the name and address of the bidder to enable the EOI to be
returned unopened in case it is received ‘late’ or is ‘rejected’.
EOI may be delivered in person or may be deposited in the tender box before closing time
or may be sent by registered post on the address as given clause above and the
responsibility for ensuring that the registered EOI documents are delivered in time would
rest with bidder. The CUK shall not be responsible if the EOIs are delivered elsewhere.
Venue of EOI opening:
EOIs will be opened in Central University of Karnataka, Administration building, ground floor
conference hall, on the due date and time. If due to administrative reason the venue of EOI
opening is changed it will be displayed prominently at the notice board and CUK website. In
case of the date of opening is declared as holiday than bids will be opened on the next
working day at the same venue and time.
If the envelope is not sealed and marked as required the EOIs shall be rejected.
Late EOIs:
Any EOI received by the CUK after the deadline for submission of EOI prescribed by the
purchaser shall be rejected and returned unopened to the bidder.
CUK’S right to accept any EOI and to reject any or all EOIs:
CUK reserves the right to accept or reject any EOI, and to annul the bidding process and
reject all EOIs, at any time without assigning any reason whatsoever and without thereby
incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders on the grounds for the Purchaser’s
action.
