Rachel Held Evans to appear on April 18, 7:00p.m. at Highland
Presbyterian Church. The New York Times bestselling author and
popular blogger will talk about her personal journey and the steps
churches can take to connect meaningfully and successfully with
young people during an “Evening with Rachel Held Evans.” The
evening is sponsored by the Parish Resource Center as part of its
lecture series.

so, are they running out and need more? Do you
have a child(ren) and don’t have youth envelopes
but want them? If you answered “yes” to any of
these questions, please see Jill Reichert. The youth
will get their own financial statements as part of their giving.

There will be a distribution of Palms with a
special presentation from our kids and youth.
Maundy Thursday, April 2 / 7:00pm
One hour reflective service on the Upper
Room and The Lord’s (Last) Supper.
Good Friday, April 3 / 12:00 - 1:15pm
This ecumenical Good Friday service will be held at the worship
home of Church of God (171 Church St., Landisville), planned by
the Hempfield Ministerium.
Easter Sunday, April 5 / 9:30am & 11:00am
There will be a 6am Sunrise Service on the front porch with a light
breakfast to follow. Our Easter services will include singing and a
Flowering Cross. Fellowship and an Easter Egg Hunt at 10:15am
will be held between services in the Atrium & outside (weather
permitting).
Wayside’s Mission budget is 10% of the total prior year
pledges. This is Wayside Church’s tithing. We hold
ourselves to the biblical intent of 10% tithing so we as a
congregation are tithing through the mission budget!

kayaking, biking…this camp has it all! Every day is unique, creative and special - just like our relationship with God! For more

I would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of those at Wayside who have been praying for my boyfriend, Woody! Waysiders
have enormous, caring hearts with a deep faith and it is definitely
felt! Woody appreciated all of the thoughts and cards. His next
venture will be 5 weeks of radiation (Mon-Fri) to complete the
Wayside Presbyterian Church has a lot of supportive,
