Pastor Steve will introduce this year’s theme for Lent, From Shame to Glory, based upon the new book by Nancy Regensburger by the same name, and the congregation will be given an opportunity to participate in a “silent witness” as the evening’s central message on transformation. Wayside has purchased an 80” monitor to be used during both worship services. A regular member of our contemporary service wrote this: “Much to my amazement, I stood in back of the church, after leaving Adult Sunday School, and was able to read every word on the monitor in the sanctuary. The lettering was black on yellow/gold. I will be experimenting with different locations, colors and fonts. I did decide that I do not see the screen well from the right side - wrong angle. I tried sitting on the choir side this Sunday, but the wording was not posted. As far as I am concerned, I think you have hit on an awesome bit of technology. ~Betty Lentz” THANK YOU to the Kereczman family for hosting this year’s Super Bowl party!
