Preface:
It is our pleasure to introduce the first International Conference on
Advances in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. The organizing
committee received over 140 abstracts from Algeria, Canada, Egypt,
Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Nigeria, Slovenia, Saudi
Arabia, UK and US. Out of these abstracts about 90 full length papers were
carefully selected after preview to be included in the conference program in
the disciples Geotechnical Engineering, Reinforced Concrete Structures,
Structure
Analysis,
Materials,
Steel
Structures
and
Construction
Management. In additional to the papers, the program, of the conference is
heavily loaded with 6 keynote lectures. This book of abstract is an excellent
reference of the papers. Full length papers are included in the conference
flash memory that is equipped with an electronic search engine. All in all
the conference is an excellent opportunity for engagement in fruitful
discussion, share of knowledge and exchange of ideas in a gathering that is
full of researches, academics, practitioners and engineers.
