interested should meet Kim in the Narthex at 10:20.
Easter Egg Hunt
Hibben’s annual egg hunt will take place on Easter
Sunday during Sunday school. All children in preschool
through 6th grade are invited to participate. All ages will
meet in the CLLC at 9:15am for a sharing of the Easter
story with the egg hunt to follow afterwards. Remember
to bring your basket!
Children’s Worship Bags:

toddlers. Please see an usher if you have questions.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE . . .
to produce a meaningful and fun Vacation Bible School! Many volunteers are
needed, and we'd love for you to join our team. VBS will be held June 15-18
from 9:00 am – Noon. Both adult and youth volunteers are needed to help
with everything from worship to crafts to missions to snacks. If you'd be

Sympathy
The Hibben congregation is saddened by the death of Jerre
Chambers on Sunday, March 22. Funeral services were held yesterday
at North Charleston United Methodist Church, followed by interment in
Summerton, SC. We lift Betsy and her children in our prayers during
their time of grief and entrust them to God’s loving care.
We also extend Christian sympathy to Lacey and Dylan Lipe
following the death of their father and grandfather, Danny Reeves. A
resident of Spartanburg, Mr. Reeves died Wednesday, March 11.
Hibben's Youth would love to lend a helping
hand to our church family during our annual
Spring Serve event. Do you need (free!) help
with yard work, light house work, or other
small projects? We are taking requests to
provide assistance on Friday, April 3. If you
would like to be included, please contact
Elizabeth Connell at 843-813-8700.
Hibben Media Team
Are you interested in joining the media team at Hibben? We are looking
for volunteers to help run the sanctuary sound and slides! You will be
paired with a media veteran in our new team-based plan. Please find
Steven Jones on Sundays or email him at [email protected] if you
are interested.

Hibben’s Church Library
Even though we are now in the age of eBooks, don't forget that Hibben
has a church library for your use. It's a great resource if you're a Sunday
School teacher, or if you're in a Bible Study. Also, if you're looking for a
study for your class, there are some series with multiple copies for you to
use. At the present time, we do not need any donations, unless you have
a series that you used in a class. Checkout is the honor system- look at
the bulletin board in the library for checkout slips. Come in and browse!
Contact Susan McSwain, 843-971-5085, for more information.

We’ll be serving an Italian main dish.
Dessert, bread, drinks, paper goods &
other Italian side dishes are needed.
GROUP YARD SALE
Do you need to simplify your life and get rid of
stuff? Would you like to support Hibben and its
ministries? Here’s a great opportunity! On
April 11th Hibben will host a multiple family
yard sale in our CLLC. Each seller will be
responsible for their own space setup, pricing,
selling, and clean-up. All we ask is that you
donate 10% of your proceeds to any Hibben
ministry. For more information, or to sign-up as a
participant, contact Jennifer at [email protected].
After March 28th we will open space to friends of
Hibben, if any remain. So, register soon!

GATHERING AND WELCOME
This morning we travel with Jesus the last week of his earthly life. Today is
Palm Sunday and next Sunday is Easter. In order to get from one to the other,
Jesus had to go to Golgotha. Today, we start with hosannas
and end at the tomb where we await Easter morning.

you are invited to come to the altar and pray.)
